How to get to the Langebaan Boat Houses?

Two options available to get to the Boat Houses – by boat or by road.

1. By Boat:

Launch your boat at the Langebaan Yacht Club, Club Mykonos or Alabama Street in midtown. Just make sure that you have all relative paperwork, license and permits. Pass the Yacht Club and cross the lagoon (15 minutes), till you reach Kraalbaai.

Nice to have boat available for sunset cruises, going to the main beach, to stock up from Langebaan or use it for watersport recreation.

2. By Road:

Travelling from Cape town on the R27, take the turn off, after Yzerfontein , to the entrance of the West Coast National Park.

You will have to pay the Park entrance fees (per head), even if you have a booking. Drive all the way to Kraalbaai and park at the jetty. From here you will be transported, by boat, to your boat house.

Alternative, enter at the Langebaan Gate, for a scenic drive all along the lagoon, till you reach Kraalbaai. (37 km).
