In 1996 Owen Wiggens Trust was liquidated. The Langebaan Municipality seized all unserviced land for outstanding rates and taxes. The massive undeveloped land was eventually sold of to the Frank Robart Family and they developed the Langebaan Country Estate with a new 18 hole- golf course as a private estate(2002).
The original golf course was converted into a Mashie Course. Today, the Country Club in Langebaan has over 1000 dwellings. It has no Homeowners Association, no levy and is an open neighbourhood, outside the Golf Estate.
